▶Brief Description

◉Overview

This position is for a DevOps Engineer responsible for executing DevOps activities across Cloud (Azure) and On-premises environments. The role is based in Trivandrum, India. The candidate will collaborate with customers through web conferences, emails, and other communication channels, and coordinate with customer technical teams as required. The primary focus of this role is containerization, cloud infrastructure management on GCP, CI/CD implementation, and web server configuration. The candidate will take ownership of assigned tasks, ensure quality deliverables, and work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining strong collaboration with stakeholders.

⬡Job Responsibilities

• ◆Design, build, and maintain containerized environments using Docker.
• ◆Write and optimize Dockerfiles following best practices.
• ◆Manage container lifecycle activities including build, run, deploy, and troubleshoot.
• ◆Provision and manage infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• ◆Configure and manage Compute Engine VMs.
• ◆Design and manage VPC networking and Cloud Load Balancing.
• ◆Implement and manage IAM roles and permissions.
• ◆Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments.
• ◆Use GCP CLI (gcloud) for deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting.
• ◆Configure and manage Nginx as a reverse proxy (SSL/TLS, routing, troubleshooting).
• ◆Administer Linux systems (file systems, permissions, CLI operations).
• ◆Provide basic support for Windows systems where required.
• ◆Troubleshoot infrastructure and deployment issues across environments.
• ◆Communicate clearly with customers regarding requirements, progress, and issue resolution.
• ◆Ensure timely delivery of stable and reliable solutions.

▪Preferred Skills

▸Qualifications and Requirements

· More than 4 years of experience in DevOps.

· Strong experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services

· Proficient in version control systems, especially Git and GitHub

· Experience with databases including PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, SQL, and DB2

· Experience with local data services such as Redis, MongoDB, or Memcached

· Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, Python, Shell, or Ruby

· Experience with build and release tools including GitHub Actions, TeamCity, or Jenkins.
