Brief Description

The role requires a strong focus on system reliability, scalability, and performance across cloud-based platforms. The ideal candidate collaborates closely with development, DevOps, and support teams to ensure high availability and operational excellence. Exposure to cloud infrastructure, automation, monitoring tools, and modern DevOps practices is a strong advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor system health, availability, and performance across production and staging environments.
• Respond to and resolve incidents, conduct root cause analysis, and implement preventive measures.
• Assist in maintaining CI/CD pipelines, deployment processes, and release management workflows.
• Support cloud infrastructure management on AWS (EC2, RDS, S3, CloudWatch, etc.).
• Contribute to automation efforts to reduce manual toil and improve operational efficiency.
• Maintain runbooks, incident reports, and operational documentation.
• Collaborate with development teams to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.
• Assist with database health monitoring (MySQL, Oracle) and backup validation.
• Support security and compliance initiatives including OWASP and SOC 2 controls.
• Participate in on-call rotations and escalation support.

Preferred Skills

• 0–2 years of experience in SRE, DevOps, or systems engineering roles.
• Basic understanding of Linux system administration.
• Familiarity with AWS cloud services.
• Exposure to CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar).
• Basic scripting skills in Bash, Python, or similar.
• Understanding of networking fundamentals (DNS, HTTP, TCP/IP, load balancing).
• Good communication and documentation skills.

Kindly Note :- Added Advantage

• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with monitoring tools (CloudWatch, Grafana, ELK/Elasticsearch).
• Knowledge of Spring Boot or Java-based application stacks.
• Understanding of database operations (MySQL, Oracle).
• AWS Cloud Practitioner or Solutions Architect certification.
