Senior QA Engineer (Automation + Manual | 12+ Years)
Kochi / Hybrid (as applicable)

Softobiz is seeking an experienced
who brings strong hands-on expertise in
both automation and manual testing
. The ideal candidate will lead end-to-end testing initiatives, define QA best practices, mentor engineers, and ensure high-quality releases across cloud-native and enterprise product environments.
test planning, test strategy, and QA processes
for complex enterprise applications.
manual and automation testing
across functional, regression, performance, and integration scenarios.
Build and maintain robust
automation frameworks
Review requirements, identify gaps, and proactively highlight risks to stakeholders.
Collaborate closely with product owners, architects, developers, and DevOps to ensure seamless release processes.
defect lifecycle management
and ensure accurate tracking and reporting.
Mentor junior/mid QA engineers and contribute to
process maturity and continuous improvement
Technical Skills Required
Selenium / Cypress / Playwright or equivalent
API automation tools —
Postman / RestAssured / Karate / Katalon
Azure DevOps / Jenkins / CI–CD pipelines
Hands-on experience with
SQL and NoSQL databases
load/performance testing tools
like JMeter or Locust is an added advantage.
cloud-based distributed systems or microservices
Agile / Scrum methodologies
Leadership experience in mentoring or scaling a QA team.
