We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Senior QA Engineer with 5–7 years of experience in manual and automation testing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring product quality through structured test planning, execution, automation support, and close collaboration with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.
The candidate should have strong expertise in manual testing, SQL, test management practices, and a foundational understanding of automation frameworks.
Review business and technical requirements and create comprehensive test plans, test scenarios, and test cases.
Perform manual testing including functional, regression, integration, smoke, and exploratory testing.
Log, track, and retest defects; collaborate closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
Write and maintain basic automation scripts for regression and smoke test suites.
Execute automated test suites and identify areas suitable for further automation.
Perform database validation and data warehouse testing to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
Document test results and ensure adherence to defined QA processes and standards.
Participate actively in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
Provide constructive feedback on product quality, usability, performance, and risk areas.
Continuously enhance testing practices and stay updated with evolving QA tools and methodologies.
Work effectively with teams and management personnel across different geographies.
Adapt to shifting priorities, multiple demands, and dynamic project environments.
Expectations from the Candidate
Strong understanding of Manual Testing concepts, STLC, SDLC, and Defect Life Cycle.
Ability to design, document, and execute clear and effective test cases.
Proficiency in SQL with hands-on experience in database validation and data warehouse testing.
Familiarity with automation basics and hands-on exposure to tools such as Selenium, Playwright, or similar frameworks.
Experience with API testing tools such as Postman.
Hands-on experience with defect tracking and test management tools such as Azure DevOps (ADO), Jira, or equivalent.
Strong analytical skills with keen attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
Self-motivated, independent, and flexible with working hours when required.
Willingness to learn and grow in automation and modern QA practices.
Strong collaboration and communication skills in distributed Agile teams.
5–7 years of Manual QA experience
Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps (ADO)
Experience in Test Management practices
Test result documentation and reporting
Advanced automation framework design knowledge
Performance or API automation testing experience
Experience working in enterprise-scale Agile environments
